Hi! I am Rebecka - the Wrusty Nib

I am here to give some backstory to the mini-comic zines I like to tuck into unexpected spaces in my community. There is so much magic out there and I am gonna catch it for a moment with illustrations and commentary.

A studied anthropologist, I spent the last 20 years or so working with and for vulnerable communities, with a particular passion for anti-poverty work and food justice. Unfortunately, I did a horrible job taking care of myself - and had a massive meltdown - burnout - midlife crisis - explosion. Coming out of that, healed by artistic expression- I realize I need to tend my creative genius for a bit, make some disruptive art, and feed the resistance.
